SALVATION

IT'S THIS SIMPLE

We are saved strictly by God’s grace through faith as a gift (Ephesians 2:8, 9).  Jesus sacrifice has made this free gift possible.

What must I do to go to heaven?
1.        Admit you are a sinner.
The Bible says “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).  The glory of God is the standard you must meet to enter God’s heaven.  ALL HAVE SINNED—YOU HAVE SINNED.

2.        Acknowledge sin deserves punishment.
The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23a).  Wages are what you earn.  Death is separation.  The result of sin is separation from God—forever.  ALL DESERVE PUNISHMENT—YOU DESERVE PUNISHMENT.

3.        Acknowledge Jesus took your punishment.
The Bible says, “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).  JESUS DIED FOR SINNERS—JESUS DIED FOR YOU.  Because of Jesus Christ, you do not have to be punished!

4.        Ask Jesus into your life.
The Bible says, “But, as many as received him (Jesus) , to them he (God) gave the power (ability) to become the children of God, even to them that believe on his name;” (John 1:12).  ALL NEED A SAVIOR—YOU NEED A SAVIOR.  Receive Jesus Christ into your life right now.

Prayer:  Dear God, I admit I am a sinner.  I deserve punishment.  Jesus took my place.  I pray to receive Jesus Christ today.  I ask Jesus into my life as my Savior and Lord.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen
